No one expects to be diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma at 25—especially not when you have one of the most physically demanding jobs on the planet: Military Police with the U.S. Navy.
It was this journey that brought Mackenzie to Bloodworks: first as a volunteer out of our Silverdale donor center during her treatment and now as a blood collection specialist in North Seattle.
And Mackenzie brings her experience as a cancer survivor to Bloodworks every day, helping donors save the lives of people like her.
