Calling all ducks, dawgs, and donors!
Students, alumni, and fans of Big 10 schools are invited to participate in the We Give Blood Drive led by Abbott. A fun fact: all blood donated to Bloodworks is tested on equipment manufactured by Abbott.
The We Give Blood Drive will run September 26 through December 6, with the winner announced at the 2024 Discover Big Ten Football Championship Game on December 7.
The Big 10 school that drives the most blood donations will receive a $1 million contribution to advance student and community health.
Whether you bleed purple and gold or green and yellow, you love your school and you love saving lives. Make your donation count as a point for your school. Every pint — and every point — matters!

The average age of blood donors in the US is increasing, and we need more young people to step up to save lives. The We Give Blood Drive is the first-ever college conference-wide blood donation competition with the Big Ten’s 18 universities. Bloodworks is proud to support this groundbreaking effort as Western Washington and Oregon’s community blood center.
